IT’S NEVER TOO LATE TO STOP THE HURRY LIFESTYLE

Insight101 with CC Francis (#599)

Being in too much hurry is more harmful than the good you might benefit from it. We are in a world where almost everyone wants things fast. No wonder we have fast cars on fast lanes, leading to fast deaths; fast foods with plenty of junk with no benefit to the body; fast smartphones luring into addiction, rather than leading to creativity. Little surprise many are on the fast lanes now, leading to hurtful ends.

A student who had an exam to write did nothing until two days before the exam, and started praying to God, “Do it Lord, do it Lord, do it, Lord.” What on earth does he want God to do? A man who knew his wife would be on the delivery bed in nine months, carried on as though the pregnancy was scheduled for 9 years. On the DOD, you found him making frantic calls to people to bail him out with financial support.

How many of us have been victims of the fast life? You have an important appointment scheduled for 9 am but decided to leave home 5 minutes before the time, and then praying frantically not to be caught up in traffic. Phew!!

Take a break my friend, and evaluate yourself. Must everything about you be in a hurry? Multi-million-dollar companies are not built overnight. Rome was not built in a day. A man did not become an adult in the blink of an eye. Why must yours be different? Stop the hurry, friend, and follow the process, and it will all turn out right for a happy lifestyle.
