BlossomNigeria commends the TGI Cares Foundation, which recently partnered with FoodClique Support Initiative, an NGO dedicated to eradicating hunger, for a noteworthy food outreach held in Ebute Meta, Lagos.

TGI Cares Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Tropical General Investment (TGI) Group, whose core objectives are to promote food security by supporting appropriate education, championing social interventions, and providing relief in times of disaster, have demonstrated good commitment to their support of indigent Nigerian citizens.

TGI Group’s Head of Corporate Communications, Rafiat Gawat stated that the organisation recognises the impact of hunger on communities, particularly in view of the cost of living crisis ravaging the world currently. She says “As an organisation, we will continue to eradicate hunger and support our communities. Our commitment is in providing support to those at risk.’’

Recognising the good collaboration between the TGI and FoodClique NGO, the Chief Executive Officer of FoodClique, Ibrahim Onilegbale praised the union, adding that the partnership with TGI Cares Foundation, has always been about more than just providing food.

Still geared towards reducing the effects of the current economic hardship on Nigerians, BlossomNigeria acknowledges the fact that the TGI Cares Foundation has really demonstrated effective collaboration, working together to combat hunger and create sustainable solutions for more Nigerians. They recently also partnered with the Cosmopolitan Women’s Club (CWC) by supporting the CWC Food Bank Project with monthly food donations.

We say well done to the Tropical General Investment (TGI) Group, through its philanthropic arm, TGI Cares Foundation, that is still committed to donating food supplies to indigent Nigerian citizens through the FoodClique Support Initiative and sister organisations. Keep up the good work.
