BlossomNigeria encourages the good work of Otunba Tunde Falola, who started supporting 10 indigenes of the Babanloma community, in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State. The students who are of different higher institutions, have benefitted from the scholarship award by the Otunba Gbofinniyi Educational Foundation (OGEF), as a way of encouraging them to excel further in their fields of study.

Though in its primary stage, the founder, who is also an Abuja-based lawyer, Otunba Tunde Falola, said the maiden edition is part of Falola’s efforts to give back to the society and assist the indigents students to attain their educational aspiration.

A statement jointly signed by Falola and the Secretary of awardees’ selection committee, Alhaji Raheem Ogunola stated that “the beneficiaries of the award were selected randomly from various institutions of higher learning, with special attention on gender balance and religious equality.”

We encourage the idea behind the establishment of the foundation, which is to offer more contributions towards the progress of the community, by choosing the education sector as a major area of focus.
